Where It All Began
What began as a personal keepsake from a special trip quickly became something more. Family and friends who saw the pieces immediately recognized something unique and encouraged Maribel and Amauri to continue creating.
That moment became the beginning of AG Atelier.
Maribel discovered a passion for designing jewelry with character — combining natural stones, pearls, shells, rich colors, unexpected details, and statement elements to create pieces meant to be noticed and remembered. Amauri became the hands that bring many of those designs to life, carefully assembling and finishing each piece. Their first collection, Saylor Sea, was born from that original connection to the ocean and was named in honor of one of their granddaughter, Saylor. The collection remains especially meaningful because it represents where their creative journey began.
Jewelry With a Story
At AG Atelier, the beauty of each piece begins with the materials we choose. Our jewelry is created using carefully selected natural stones, pearls, shells, and distinctive elements chosen for their color, texture, character, and natural beauty. Because many of these materials are created by nature, variations in tone, pattern, shape, and texture are not imperfections — they are part of what makes each piece unique. Some of the shells featured in our designs have an even more personal story. They were not simply purchased from a supplier. Maribel and Amauri personally collected and selected special shells during their travels, including along the Florida coast — especially Sanibel Island — as well as Mexico and Dubai. Each shell was chosen for its natural beauty and brought home with the possibility of one day becoming part of an AG Atelier creation.
We also carefully source quality natural stones and unique materials that complement our designs, selecting each element with the finished piece in mind. Many AG Atelier designs are created in limited quantities, and pieces featuring naturally unique stones or personally collected shells may never be exactly duplicated. No two natural stones or shells are completely identical, giving each creation its own individual character. From the selection of the materials to the final details and finishing touches, every element is chosen with intention. Natural beauty. Exceptional materials. Pieces with a story. Craftsmanship With IntentionEvery AG Atelier piece begins with a vision and is brought to life with careful attention to detail.Maribel develops each design by selecting the stones, colors, textures, proportions, and distinctive details that give the piece its personality. Amauri then brings those designs to life, carefully assembling each element and paying close attention to balance, structure, comfort, and finish.From statement clasps and carefully chosen spacers to the placement of every stone and finishing detail, nothing is added without purpose.
